2009 VCA NATIONALS

In October at Charlotte North Carolina, the Vizsla Nationals for 2009 occurred, and we attended our first Nationals.  We entered Nasdaq and Penny, though they had not been shown for a number of years.

There were over 80 Champion Dogs and 60 Champion Bitches at the show.  To make the final selection more manageable, Judge Michelle Billings made several cuts on the dogs and bitches.  Nasdaq made the first cut and showed very well.

Penny made not only the first cut, but also the second cut!  We were excited to see her show with the top selection, and thus she was part of the top 28 dogs and bitches.  Penny showed very well.

Ashley Watkins handled both Nasdaq and Penny for us at Nationals.  While she met our dogs at the show, she quickly developed a relationship with both.  Ashley worked hard to highlight the strengths of both of our vizslas, and we are sure this aided their ability to make the cuts.  Thank you Ashley for your hard work.
